Join us every Thursday night for our Campus Wide Bible Study! Due to the generosity of local churches, ministry partners, and friends of Elbert & Karen, free food/refreshments will be provided every week! Food arrives at 7:45 and will be served on the 2nd Floor of the Student Center on the Campus of Jackson State University. Bible Study/Worship begins promptly at 8:45. This semester we will be doing a topical study and seeking to understand how the Gospel addresses: Your Church Attendance, Use of Technology, Consumerism, Greek Life, Religion, Sexuality, Abortion, Money, Missions & Evangelism, Alcohol & Drug Consumption, and the crisis of Black Manhood. Why this series? Why these topics? These have been reoccuring issues/questions in my one-on-one's with students at JSU. So, in order to effectively meet the needs of students at JSU, I've set aside what I initially hoped to teach.
