Small GroupsNew to RUF? Want to get connected? Are you looking for a group of students to meet with weekly to study God's Word? Join one of the many small groups we offer. Why small groups? Jesus spent time teaching, preaching and interacting with huge crowds. Yet, he also spent time with people in smaller settings! During these times, people asked Jesus poignant questions, shared meals together, and grew in their understanding of Him and the Gospel. This trend continued in Acts, where people met in homes, devoted themselves to prayer, the reading of the Scriptures, and the breaking of bread. Therefore, being involved in RUF need not limited to Large Group (though it's perfectly fine if you can't make a small group)! Each semester, we will offer at least 3 Small Groups! Because students' schedules change semester to semester, so do our small group times/locations.Are you currently on the RUF Worship Team? Are you desirous of using your voice or your musical abilities to lead us in worship on Thursday nights? If so, it is mandatory that you attend our small group on Worship. Elbert will be leading this small group, and will be using a great book on worship entitled, "Worship Matters." While our target audience is our worship team, it is open to any student in RUF. THIS SMALL GROUP MEETS EVERY MONDAY, FROM 4:30-5:15 IN ELBERT'S OFFICE. MUSIC REHEARSAL IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS! ![]() Have you ever wondered why Jesus was so appealing to the outcasts of his day (prostitutes, adulterers, poor, sick, tax-collectors)?
